Anonymous asked: Because I don't know how to reply (if I can reply) to you. Continuing from my previous question... I would strongly suggest trying Amazon. Both print and definetely kindle which easier and faster to buy. Personally I am one of the three who bough it and I have to admit I was unsatisfied with Lulu's services. I couldn't recommend anyone to buy from there (hence not much promotional...

RandomActs Is Behind Us!
I sent in an email to the director of RandomActs near the beginning of this project and received a very lovely reply giving us full backing for the project and wishing us all the best. I had also asked if we could get someone to write a foreward for the book. I had asked if Misha Collins could do it, knowing it unlikely but thought I’d give it a go anyway, and they countered by suggesting...

Who has started their story?
I’m curious to see how many people have already started their stories. I started mine this morning and already have 300 words down. 115 Oak Avenue was a perpetual Halloween haunted house. In appearance anyway. There’s my opening. I’m going with a slightly creepy story that ends well. What are you writing? -Heather

Just dropping in...
I promised Ayesha that I’d let her run the Tumblr side of things but I thought I’d just drop in and explain a little about the project and my motivation behind it. Last year when the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan I set about trying to get a group of writers together to create a book of short stories based on the themes of devastation and hope. We manage to gather 34 writers of all...

Story Submission Requirements
Hello, it’s Ayesha again! :D All of you fantastic people writing short stories for Write for Haiti deserve a huge hug! We are planning on having every story submitted in the book, unless we get too many submissions or something then we’d either have another book or cut some stories out.  We would ask that all of the short stories have a theme of kindness, however you interpret...

Write for Japan!
Last year, around this time, Japan had a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, followed by tsunamis. A group of writers from around the globe wanted to raise money and help make a difference to those affected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunamis.   We achieved this goal by publishing a collection of short stories in both eBook and paperback format. All of the profits raised by our book went to the...
